What I learned

Posted in Uncategorized on May 22, 2008 by alecmfaul

From working on this documentary I surprisingly learned a lot about global warming.  When we first started this project the idea of it seemed dumb to me because I thought we were not going to learn anything and waste our time blogging.  I did not realize that global warming was as big of a priority as it is.  Even though it’s unproven, it’s obvious that something is going on.  I learned that it is expected we will start seeing real effects of global warming in about fifty years which really scares me because I plan on still being alive at that point.  It makes me think about having kids and leaving them here for their world to die out.  It’s a scary thought and I wish there were more we could do about it to stop it.  I want to start doing something immediately to prevent it but I don’t know what I can do that will have a strong effect.  I just hope it is not too late.

Street Interview reflection

I thought that the street interviews were fun but i didn’t really like what our interviewies had to say.  It did not seem like very many of them knew what they were talking about when it came to global warming.  It seemed like most of them just rambled in order to give us an answer to our questions.  I thought it looked like a lot of fun and i wish i could have been there.
