Alec NHS Global Warming Documentary

What I learned

From working on this documentary I surprisingly learned a lot about global warming.  When we first started this project the idea of it seemed dumb to me because I thought we were not going to learn anything and waste our time blogging.  I did not realize that global warming was as big of a priority as it is.  Even though it’s unproven, it’s obvious that something is going on.  I learned that it is expected we will start seeing real effects of global warming in about fifty years which really scares me because I plan on still being alive at that point.  It makes me think about having kids and leaving them here for their world to die out.  It’s a scary thought and I wish there were more we could do about it to stop it.  I want to start doing something immediately to prevent it but I don’t know what I can do that will have a strong effect.  I just hope it is not too late.

I’m glad you learned about this issue. Now you can make informed choices about how you care for the environment. It was a pleasure to have you in class, Alec. Have a great summer.
